ABOUT: Reverend Evie Stuard

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I am blessed to have been called by God, through this faith family here at Tabernacle Christian Church some 5 years ago. I give thanks for each and every person, of all ages, that are part of this “Love, Lives Here” congregation.

God called me to ordained ministry through a path of healing, education, and many life experiences. I am fond of saying, “Everything that came before, prepared me for today!”

I earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University School of Nursing. I practiced nursing in high intensity, and spiritually challenging areas, providing intensive care, burn care, teaching nursing, creating, developing and directed the HIV/AIDS program at St. Vincent Hospitals in the state of Indiana. And as I attended seminary, I provided chaplain and nursing care to patients, families and staff in a free standing 26 bed hospice.

I was called into ministry in 1990 by our pastor and Elders of a

Disciple of Christ Church. Then was recommended to enroll in Christian Theological Seminary in 1991. I earned a Master of Divinity degree with a minor in pastoral counseling.

Tabernacle Christian Church is a place of great love for Jesus Christ, and His people here and out in the world. This is a deeply spiritual place where we experience the Presence of Jesus Christ. A place to Worship God, renew a right spirit and to flourish together, in deeper spiritual ways.

The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the Communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. In Jesus Precious Name we pray.  Amen
